Yes, we have finally installed WordPress on our web server! Hurrah us! We will be tinkering a bit with the look of the Blog over the next few days, but it is now fully working with our site.

In other news, First Group has asked User Perspective and Design:bias to help implement a plan to make navigating at train stations easier. Watch this space…

Might be doing some work for the National Rail network! How exciting! All to do with safety and communication which should be great fun to do. In other news, Batman: Arkham Aslyum on hard difficulty, really is hard.

Still not installed WordPress on our server. The cows are investigating MySQL(!) (yes, that’s what we though as well) so that we can get it running, so bare with us. Then hopefully we can fully configure the CSS style (and still credit where it is due) to be more in keeping with our brand. Watch this space.

Twitter FAIL

We are gobsmacked. What is so brilliant that everyone is talking about it?

Things that make you go, hmmmm……

iPhone 4? Spider-Man relaunch? New freezer? 24 season 8? Chuck season 3? Yes, all things we are excited about. Not necessarily in order either.

Today shall be about recycling, adverts (more of them), considering installing WordPress on our website, plans so cunning you could stick a tail on them all AND call them weasels, new business and maybe, just maybe, some paperwork. Friday, weather permitting, we are going to sort out the garden outside the office. The cows have obviously been busy with technical things and have let their gardening duties lapse. Scandalous behaviour indeed.

Cheating?

So, there was a WordPress theme that was similar enough for our needs and we went for it. The author does get credit, and if he/she asks nicely, maybe we will send them a T-shirt. Maybe. With a cow on it.

Adverts today, for a client in Australia, as well as finishing up their re-branded stationery. And we are waiting for a new freezer. Our last one died. It was a sad day for all the grapes we have picked in the hope of making wine. Still, the cows were pleased. They can charge more for the milk in our coffee. Curses!

Finally…

Ok, so it took a long time to happen, but we finally signed up for a WordPress account. Plenty to do and change (tailor it to our brand etc) but the poor website cows have been moaning at us to sign up.

So, brand new year, brand new projects? Well, sort of. We have some web work we need to finish for a client in Australia before we then move on to their third and final company branding exercise; (Design:bias has been doing 2 other companies for this Australian entrepreneur) a jewellery company.

New partnerships this year will hopefully bring about new business, and it seems that the work we did for Climax on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories has been well received and the game is currently holding a good 76 on Metacritic (link). We have also been doing work on a project which we can’t talk about, but are very excited for them.

And finally, our Cows have validated our website so that it is W3C compliant. This means everything is lovely with our code, and that web browsers will like our site. Hurrah!
